Just curious if you’ve made any test prints from the inPRNT site and what you thought of the output (if you’ve seen it). Considering getting a couple images together to submit to them but curious what an opinion on the service was.
Nope — no test prints ordered yet. I’ll probably do that fairly soon. They’ve made some curious choices with respect to their website design and offerings — and I’ve wondered whether this strangeness carries through to their fulfillment process.
For instance, the print management area still doesn’t allow much dictation of available sizes (they simply offer 13×19, 18×24, and 24×36 for _anything_ you upload) and the interface just feels a bit “off” (broken links, lots of extra clicking required, etc.).
(On further thought: limiting the size choices may actually work to their advantage (and the advantage of the artist selling a print through them!), so that may actually be a fairly savvy business choice.)
I’ll definitely post a follow-up when I get an order from them.
(You might also want to take a look at Thumbtack Press as well. They really look like a quality outfit. I’ll probably submit some stuff over there when I get a chance.)
