Aw. So sad! And yet the ‘blue’ nature of the piece reminds me a bit of the ocean; a world so wide and vast, every creature seems dwarfed against it. (…and it’s… blue—Do cats surf?)
Those are my favorite colors. I think I like to be blue. Looks just like a moonlit night in the mountains. That cat is lucky to have such a beautiful place in which to dwell in the melancholy!
[Also, I love how the moon light leaves a swirly "tail" on light on his side. A little playful lick of happiness- like the moon is cheering him up, even if he doesn't notice!]
